Last we heard...
Not much was happening and so i didnt think it was necessary to update the blog but now...
WE HAVE MOVEMENT!
Briar and the girls are in spain for a few days and not long after that they will be on their way thru Europe via Italy with Caitlin joining them.
Their plan had been to go to Morocco, but it turned out to be too expensive so they chose Seville, Spain instead!

Last we heard...
While Briar was in Obidos, it was crazy super duper hot (her words) and she said she was sweating like a pig. A parade went thru the city with the Portugese Soccer Team who she said are pretty much royalty there and are very beautiful men lol.
They did some shopping there and then ate toasta mistas (toasted sandwiches) and sat in a cool place listening to music. Later they were in a neat bar called Danau with a beautiful view of the beach drinking sangria and pina coladas. She said they were starting pioneering the next day but luckily the group was at 10am!

Briar and the gang had visited Obidos. Its a small walled city of about 3100 people. In the hands of different royalty until 1210 when a King gave the cities Title to his Queen and since Óbidos has often been patronized by the Queens of Portugal, giving rise to its informal title as Vila das Rainhas (English: town of the Queens) (thanks wiki)
Also there is an annual Chocolate Festival held in the city and this year it was Disney themed! (Bri wasnt there for it tho)

The time before the last time we heard .....
Briar said the weather was great, nice & sunny. They had fully moved into their new house. As usual they had been to the beach everyday, except briar wasn't surfing as she had hurt her back when she jumped off a sand dune and landed the wrong way - she said when it happened it was so painful that she just lay in the sand face down for a while :( Since then she has sleeping on the couch trying to find a comfy bed for her back. She said it sux cos she is dying to get back into the water!
Now Becca has arrived, all the guys are pioneering in June! Even though she says it will be hard finding english speaking people, or even anyone. So it might be a while before we skype again as she will be getting her hours.
