Last we heard....
Sad news. You know that camera that produces the cool fish eye videos in HD that we tested in Rotorua before she left? The one we expect to see cool little videos of her travels with? It said sea you later and they just waved it goodbye. They're shore its gone forever now. Damn, what a beach :(

Briars daily routine is waking up late, going to the beach, having beers & toasted sandwiches after surfing and chilling at home.
The Austins will be moving house in the next week, closer to the beach and further away from this little village

Last i heard....
Briar is on her way to an assembly. She said:
It takes an hour to get there (to Lisbon). It's a 2-day assembly.
The Austin's congregation is the Sintra English Congregation, even though they're not close to Sintra but they're not actually a congo yet so they join with that one.
I went "surfing" yesterday out at supers. Holy moly! The waves were so big, a huge set came in and I seriously thought I was gunna drown!
When I got to the beach I vomited cos of all the salt water I swallowed, it was just a tad bit scary. Lol that was my excitement for the day and after that I just sat on the beach and watched the others. Ain't no way I was goin back in lol xxx

I wanna read this blog! The internets not very fast here - quite slow but I really wanna email some pics.
Portugal is amazing I prefer it to Paris in a way. All the houses are so pretty.
Yesterday we walked around Bolhos it was so hot and nice, been practicing my Portuguese and now I know how to ask for orange juice haha. We sat out in the sun alllll morning working on my tan was so lovely.
We have our assembly this weekend in Lisbon that will be cool I think there's only like 400 people that attend this assembly so quite small.
Oh yeah and we went to the beach it was a lil cold but cool. I'm no sure what we are doing today we still siting at the breakfast table eating we woke up late.
Anyway i'll up date you later on anything else I do. Have a good day guys BYE BYE :)

So nice to here from you. The weather in peniche is way warmer then France,
still should have packed some warmer clothes though.
How are all the kids? I miss then heaps! We have our assembly in Lisbon only like 400 people attend this one, looking forward to it, and then we have the c.o visit the week after. Haven't been to a meeting yet.

The distance from Auckland to Lisbon Portugal is 19,634.63 Km‘s
The total distance to circle the earth is 40,008 km’s. Briar has travelled almost half of that so she is on the other side of the world from us.
When Briar comes home at the end of July she would have travelled more kilometres than what it takes to circle the entire planet earth.
The weather in Lisbon is currently Sunny with a little bit of cloud but currently night time there with the weekend being overcast and then fining up to sunny weather at the start of next week.
Daytime temperatures will be in the high 20’s Nighttime temperatures will be in the high 10’s for the weekend and start of next week. So nice warm weather for them at the moment.
Briar has travelled 20,489km’s and spent 41.5 hours in some form of transportation to reach her current destination in Portugal.

Last we heard ....
Briar and Sora had landed in Paris, France, found Sam & his friend Danny, got on the train then got off and got on a bus.
In her own words....
Oi it's so cool a little scary, sam n his friend Danny came to the airport n they got lost and we thort they were at the wrong airport and we could ring anyone and there were all these freaky guys watching and asking us stuff but we couldn't understand what they were saying. But we found Sam n now we are walking the streets of Paris trying to find a bus and we r not in a very nice part of Paris to ek!

Last we heard....
[This is just a follow up of before]
Hey everyone!
Just letting you no that we arrived in Korea last night and spent a nice
evening with some of Soras family, was such a cool experience and a little
weird!
Now we are at the airport again waiting to board our plane to Paris!!
We should arrive in Paris at 6:20pm tonight (4th May) its going to take a
little over 12hrs on to get there, not very comfortable at all. Send my love
to everyone especially the kids! And mum can you give mike the latest
watchtower and awake mags you can just leave them I'm the letter box if you
like with a not saying 'to mike told you I'd still get them to you. From
briar' or something like that.
Ok well have a good day I love you! Take to you soon xxxxx

From Briar herself....."Heey guys!
Your text didn't wake me up lol we were already awake, I really really miss everyone and it's only been a day!
How am I going to survive!?! I'm just at at airport using the free wifi yuss! We waiting to board our plane we were pretty early we should be able to board soonish we fly out at 1 so should arrive in Paris at 6:20 a lil over 12 hours ek sooo uncomfortable.
Been trying to take as much video as possible Korea is a strange but amazing place would love to spend longer here! Man I am so glad that you guys can track me haha. I have a feeling that I'm gunna be ok coming home by myself :)
Man I can't wait to land in Paris we might go to the eiffel tower tonight hehe yay! Man I still can't believe I'm doing this hasn't quite sunk in haha.

Last I heard...
Briar met Sora's grandma. Instead of the traditional handshake Sora's grandma chose to greet Bri with a friendly modesty-check, pulling her t-shirt up to cover her decolletage/cleavage haha.
